If you want to increase your company’s value, one powerful way is by increasing workplace productivity. How many companies are plagued with inefficient workers who rob the company’s value time and money? Many of these companies could actually cut their workforce in half and still produce the same amount results by increasing productivity.
I’m not suggesting that you lay people off since this could cause productivity to tank. What I’m suggesting is that you should take some time out every week to figure out ways to make the tasks that your employees do more efficient. Sometimes it can be a simple software upgrade. Other times you may have to move some people around. Let’s face it, not everyone is best fit for the job that they are currently doing. Many times just by giving them tasks that they happen to like doing can greatly. increase their productivity.
So instead of spending time running pointless meetings, invest some of that time to brainstorm ways to increase workplace productivity. By doing this, your company’s profits will also increase.
