It is just a simple fact that wooden clothes hangers last longer than synthetic ones. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Wood is stronger than plastic and anything that is made out of it has more longevity. The proof is that all the wood hangers I own are from years ago. I’ve gone through plenty of plastic hangers in the interim. Wire hangers are just not good to hang your clothes on as they can rust or damage your clothes. Save them for unraveling and unplugging clogged drains in your house. If you are the type of person that only likes to buy something once than you should think about getting wooden hangers to replace your plastic ones. They now come is slimmer varieties so wood hangers are great all around and will take up less closet space.
