There is a tendency, perhaps you could call it a trend, for men in the West to be attracted to Asian women. This is nothing new; Asian fetishes have been around for a long time, but it seems with the boom in trade in Asia and subsequent increase in business trips, males from the US and Europe are venturing to the east and far east and liking what they see.
And just why would this be so? Why would men set in their careers, many already seemingly happily married and often even with children, leave their wives in droves after coming to this distant shore? The answer is complex, and here are some of the reasons. Keep in mind that like many answers, these may be highly subjective and true or not true depending on circumstances. What this evidence has in common is that it has been reported from more than one source to have happened.
One fact, often cited by men who swear they have given up dating their own race after coming to Asia, is that Asian women are more feminine. They claim that with women’s liberation and modern values, women have turned to competing with men, fighting for equal rights for men, and in many cases virtually turning into a man. After too man experiences in failed relationships with such women, they say, they just give up. Obviously this applies to looks as well as cultural values.
Another reason may be the sheer number of available young women in countries like China, where there is a huge population. Here, it is often easy for Western men to pick up an attractive Asian girl because they earn more money than local men and offer the promise of a better life for the girls, whether real or imagined.
