I find it appalling how little thought people put into keeping their closet nice looking. (What’s worse are the peoples whose cars look as if they are a mobile homeless persons personal collection of items, but, that’s for another article!) Closets offer you a place to store all your stuff of sight. And we thank them by throwing stuff in their and shutting the door fast without a second thought! It’s not so much that I am a type A OCD organization freak who runs the Closet Organizers Guide as a strange side hobby – despite the rumors to the contrary, I’m not (OK maybe a little…). I like to think it’s just that I appreciate a good, clean, organized work space. I work from home, so you can’t trick me into shoving all my things into one area like it’s clean. The mess from the closet spills out everywhere else in life, especially the bedroom, which is where my office is, so you’d better believe I keep my closet organized.
