LCD and flat screen TVs are great because they have an excellent picture and are larger than older TVs. The screens don’t flicker like old TVs do, so they’re also easier on your eyes. You may not be getting the full effect of your flat screen TV if you don’t have it set at the best viewing angle. Using a TV wall mount can help.
Besides just being able to mount your TV where it can be better seen, wall and ceiling mounts have other advantages, too. Getting the TV off of a stand or entertainment center can free up more floor space. They can also keep tiny fingers or pets away from your expensive TV. Wall or ceiling mounting your TV can also just make the room look much cleaner and more clutter free.
