Did you know that other than just using your digital baby monitor to listen to whatever is going on in a particular room, most models also come with the capability to transmit as well? You could use your wireless baby monitor as an impromptu home intercom system. Since most of them have a range of several hundred feet, you could use it to keep in contact with someone in another room, or even outside.
Even kids can get in on the fun, using it as a communications center while they are playing soldiers, or, if the child has a tree house, one end of the unit can be left in the tree house so you can remain in contact with them and let them know when it’s time to come inside, dinner is ready, etc. The possibilities are endless.
