Labor Day weekend I took a trip to Horseneck Beach Park in Massachusetts. I thought it would be cool to spend some time on the beach and swimming in the ocean. A friend of mine had told me the beach was nice and that it was a decent place to hang out.
It turned out that more than a few thousand people had the same idea as me. Apparently, as I was to find out later when I asked around, the beach there is notorious for its miles of backed up traffic during summer weekends. It took over 45 minutes to get into the park once I was waiting in the stop and go line of cars waiting to get in.
Once I was in I did have a good time in the park. Horseneck Beach is a great place it just can be a bit of a pain to get in there!
