Toshiba 32AF44 Review

Toshiba has the uncanny ability to release, not necessarily new, but newer technology at a much more reasonable price. This makes it possible for average middle class families to get a taste of upper class televisions that won’t put them in debt for A long time. That isn’t to say that their products do not have their problems, as with any budget type of purchase there are flaws. But Toshiba is usually aware of the problems within a short amount of time and has a return and replacement policy that satisfies most of their customers.

The Toshiba 32AF44 in particular is a rear projection television, which means that it uses a lamp bulb in the back of the television to project the image on the screen. The downside to a rear projection television is that you need to purchase replacement bulbs every 4 years or so which will set you back about $100. This is a small downfall to the money that you will save in the long run, however. I am very satisfied with my Toshiba 32AH44 mainly for the easy to access video and audio plugins, so I can quickly and easily plugin and unplug my game systems.

Some of the cons to purchasing that Toshiba 32AF44 are that, while the screen quality is amazing out of the box, compared to other more expensive rear projection televisions it is sub par. The lamp life is also known to go out in 2-3 years, unlike the standard 4 years so you will probably need to replace it a little more often. Also there is a buzzing noise that your television will make when you turn it on, this is temporary and will go away after the television warms up a little bit so don’t get alarmed if you notice this.

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely consider Toshiba first on all my future television purchases. Between the cheaper price tag and the great quality, it is a no brainer in my opinion.
