The New Very Online Catalogue

Littlewoods catalogue have recently re-branded themselves and are now called the very catalogue. The change has come about because of the other catalogue that bears their name, littlewoods direct, needing a different presence from the main name. It is a case of a straight business decision to give them a more unique identity. This has happened in the last month, and customers are in the process of getting used to why the name has changed all of a sudden. Littlewoods have not even bothered to tell customers why they have changed names yet, but this may change in the near future.

The big bonus for littlewoods is that re-branding has not cost them much money because they have moved their entire business to the internet. The only costs are those fro changing the name on the web site, and the name on the paper copy catalogues to the very catalogue. This is the big advantage of not having any high street stores to worry about, otherwise a re-branding exercise would be very costly indeed.

Sales appear to be unaffected, but the littlewoods name is well respected anyway and has been built up over many years of trading. This respect goes a long way to help them achieve good profits, so there is some risk in changing it all of a sudden. The catalogue still has over 30000 products in it, but there are also some new deals and ranges that have been launched with the new name. This is an attempt to bring in new custom and it appears to be working very well so far. No doubt in the future there will be bigger and better ranges, and hopefully lower prices too. This is what really brings in the new customers because people cannot resist a bargain when they see one. The fact that the vary catalogue has one of the largest selections of goods in the same place is a distinct advantage over the competition.
