Today it seems like less and less people are wearing wristwatches. It seems like the reason why this is happening is because we have phones and computers that are always around us to tell us what time it. I personally like having the convenience to easily be able to flip my wrist and know what time it. It seems like getting to a phone or a computer is actually somewhat inconvenient whenever I want to know what time it. I think that part of keeping up with time is being able to easily see what time it is. On another note, who knows when the power is going to go off and you won’t have the phone charged up or that computer available. A watch will last quite a while on a battery or you could even rely on a watch with automatic movement that doesn’t need any form of electricity for it to work. I still believe that the wristwatch is very usable and I don’t think that it will matter what type of technology comes out in the future. I just don’t see wristwatches being easily replaced. The only problem with them is that sometimes they need watch repair. We’ve actually been using them for hundreds of years and we still do today.
