Depending on who you listen to, there could be a real life food shortage just around the corner for those in the U.S. Worldwide, the wheat harvest is down by as much as two-thirds in wheat producing countries like China and Argentina. The U.S. harvest is substantially down from last year. Plus, and this is a big plus, the U.S. has no more wheat in their reserves. This is huge! Where did it go? Well, most was exported to other countries! Now, the U.S. is having to IMPORT wheat. However, they’ve been unable to import enough to meet demands. Now you’re beginning to understand why people are stockpiling food!
The one food that families should be stockpiling is grains like wheat, rice and corn. These can be ground with a simple grain mill found in most back-to-earth type stores. The guru’s say you should have 300 pounds of grain for each person per year. How much do you have stockpiled?
