Each time you gift a present to someone, it would much appreciated if you do it heartily. For sure, there may be some time when you feel obliged to do it. An example would be when exchanging gifts during Christmas, when you just pick somebody’s name from a jar, and that person is someone you’re not fully familiar with. Regardless, adding certain worth to the gift makes it more valued, and certainly, you would also want the same thing to happen for the gift that you will receive.

To create more value to the gift, you need to add a certain level of personalization. This can be done in many ways. The easiest maybe is to insert a greeting card in the gift before physically presenting it. The card should have a personal message and not just the mere words printed inside. A short but meaningful note should be enough. A second suggestion is to make the design exceptional and personal. Say for example in the case of gift cards, you can do this by giving custom gift cards that you were able to personalize with the recipient’s name and your message to him or her. If this can’t be done, you can create unique and presentable designs ribbons, wrappers and other cute items. Lastly, you can buy something that your loved ones desire for so long. Of course, this may not always be true because you need to know the person well. But remember that whenever a person receives something very special, the feeling of happiness and gratitude is immeasurable.

One of the best presents that I have received is my brand new Dell Inspiron laptop. I got it from my father on my birthday, and it has been a godsend. Before that I used to have a problem at home because I shared our home pc with my sister and my dad, so I wasn’t able to use it as much as I had wanted, or as often as I wanted to. I am also an avid videogame fan, but recently I began to lose interest because our old pc did not meet the minimum requirements for newer games. Now I am able to use the pc anytime I want, wherever I want since I’m not confined to our home pc anymore, plus I get to play newer games like prototype (which I love) and hopefully Diablo III (which I am eagerly anticipating). It’s also quite nice to have your own personal computer which has all your stuff (music, movies, etc.) and not having to share it with other people, it is truly a blissful thing.
