Now that Nintendo has released its third generation DS console, the DSi, a lot of people are looking for cheap Nintendo DS deals online. It seems like most people either love the new DSi or hate it. I guess it all depends on who you ask! Most die-hard gamers are less than impressed with the new unit because this time around the emphasis has been placed on other features not related to gaming such as the digital camera, sound features, and web browser. These additional features might be attractive for the more retro and trendy crowd, but when it comes to playing video games, some people would rather stick with the basics. Because of the updated screen which is slightly larger and brighter, the new DSi also has a shorter battery life. The DSi does have one nice perk–the ability to connect and download new software and games via the Internet much like what is available for the Nintendo Wii. This makes the DSi much more adaptable than the DS Lite when it comes to new games and releases.
