Remember the days of one size fits all. Those days are long. No one wants a Halloween costume with the sleeves too short and high-water bottoms. Also a skin tight costume that is open around the belly or shoulders, or hips or where ever a normal person is a little more broad is just not attractive. Well fortunately the modern costume shops have come up with a solution. That solution is plus size costumes . Now you can actually choose the size of your costume. No more one size fits all and they even have bigger sizes for those people that aren’t stick figures. I know everyone wants to see a sexy nurse in a little skimpy tight costume. But have you ever seen a real nurse? The plus sizes aren’t so bad after all.

When you’re choosing a Halloween costume you really want to put some time into thinking about what you’ll be this year, because a lot of times you’ll fall into the trap of wearing a costume that is either outdated or unwieldy. A lot of masks and full-body costumes fall into this category, as do a lot of movie characters.

Basically if the character has been out of the news for more than a year or two, you can count on people not really appreciating it very much. That’s only a problem if you make it one or if you live in a box. Look around you and you’ll find it’s very easy to find a relevant costume. Harry Potter, Barrack Obama, and Michael Jackson costumes will all be huge this year, and is it any wonder? It’s just basic common sense.
