Security is important nowadays especially to protect your properly whether it be in the home or in the business.

So what are the options available to you? If you’re door and frame is made from wood you could upgrade it somewhat. The weakest point with entrance doors can be the door frames especially if made from wood. A burglar will generally attack the frame at the lock position to prize the door away from the keeper. A steel bar could be fixed to the inside of the frame at the lock position assuming the door opens inwards. If you require new doors for the home, there are a number of manufacturers who specialise in the supply of steel doors for the domestic market. Steel doors used on a commercial building are usually made with a flat steel outer door face, primed and ready painting on site. For the home this type of door would not really be suitable so there is a choice of doors in keeping with the home environment. These choices include door surfaces stamped with a wood grain effect that can be painted to whatever color you choose. If this is not suitable then there are steel core doors overlaid with wood veneers available but can be expensive. This way you can enjoy the benefits from a high security door and the traditional finish of a wooden door that can be stained and varnished in the usual way. A folded steel rebated door frame is also supplied as part of the door set making it difficult to attack.
A steel door warrants a quality locking system so multipoint locking systems are usually fitted to these types of doors so with the combination of a steel door, steel frame and multipoint locks provides a very secure doorway keeping you safe from unwanted guests.
