I’m moving into a new place next month. The new crib has got 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 things that are harder and harder to find in a home these days: an attic, a basement, and a garage. That gives us a whole lot more space to work with, which is great, because truth be told, my wife and I are pack rats, and I doubt we’ll get rid of half of what we think we will between now and moving day.
I’m trying to be on the ball with this though, and have been reading up on some great storage ideas over at the Garage Storage Systems Guide blog. It’s actually a relief reading some of these tips because it’s becoming clearer and clearer to me how easy it is to set up a proper garage storage system if you just start off with some cabinets and other storage tools, as opposed to the usual method of just “throw everything in the garage and shut the door quickly”.
