There are some warning signs that you are headed down the road of being in trouble with your credit cards. If you fall into the trap you may need to consolidate credit card bills or at the worst, file for bankruptcy to get out of debt. The most obvious sign that you are beginning to get into trouble is when you are using your credit cards more than your debit card, and not being able to pay in full at the end of the month. You are spending more than you are making, and falling into the credit trap. Another warning sign is when you are at your credit limit each month. I understand that you may make some large purchases with your credit card, but if you are paying a little bit down and hitting the max each month, it is time to slow down.
