If you have recently added a new entertainment area to your home, then you may be wondering what bar equipment is needed to have a completely functional home bar. Well, for starters, you will definitely need some stools. There is nothing worse than a bar that has nowhere to sit. Keep in mind that you may one day be entertaining someone important at this bar, and you want them to be able to sip their cocktail comfortably.
Speaking of cocktails, there is a whole lot of equipment that is needed in order to be able to make decent cocktails at your bar. One of the main pieces you will need is a cocktail shaker and some measuring cups. Obviously you will need all the liqueurs and alcohol used, but I wouldn’t really classify this as “home bar equipment” per se. Other things you may want to consider are drink coasters, a bar mat, glasses and jugs, and larger items such as a bar fridge and microwave.
