My Journey With Cross Dressing

When I first started cross dressing I was eight years old and playing “dress up” with my older sisters clothes.  I remember being scared that my parents would find out.  That didn’t stop me, though, because deep down inside I’ve always known that I am a girl.  Originally I would get corrected all the time when I was younger and people would call me a boy – I would tell them I was a girl and this really bothered my father.  Now that I am in my twenties I have realized through a lot of support and counseling that I am actually transgender.  Thankfully my family has become much more supportive in recent years.  I cross dress full time at this point and am living my life as the woman I know I am.  Hormone replacement therapy has been very helpful and I am considering going through gender reassignment surgery after I finish college.  While cross dressers come in many different varieties, we all need support.
