An investment club is normally a group or groups of people who meet regularly to discuss and make investment decisions. The normal size of an investment group is 10 to 20 members. These discussions and investment decisions are normally about stock market investments. Every once in a while on a regular basis the investment club members each contribute to and investment fund through monthly subscriptions. The club treasurer or just a few of the club members actively manage the investments of the club. Investment club accounting software is used to manage member subscriptions, financial reports, performance reports, tax returns, subscriptions made by each club member, income and expense reports. Normally one of three methods of account are used for managing the allocation of ownership, profit and loss for the investments made by the investment club.
