Home Gyms or Commercial Gyms: Pros and Cons

If you’ve adopted a solid workout routine into your life, you might be wondering which is a better way to keep it solid: home gyms, or commercial gym memberships. Both have their pros and cons, from a financial perspective, and in view of your ultimate goal of making sure you exercise every day. For convenience, the home gym has the edge. All you have to do is step into another room of your home. A commercial membership requires you to travel to the facility, change your clothes, put your stuff in a locker, and reverse the process afterward plus take a shower. Financially, home gyms are more expensive initially but pay for themselves quickly. However, there are benefits of a membership that you can’t get at home. These include more and better workout equipment that you could never afford on your own. There are also social benefits. It’s nice to have company while you do your workout.
