I had so much fun this weekend geo cashing! I can’t remember having this much FUN! I am serious. If you love outdoors, hiking and the excitement of a treasure hunt, you will be enthralled with geo cashing.
We are very new to geo cashing so we decided to select an area that we were somewhat familiar with. We got all of our supplies for hiking…water, comfy shoes, a cell phone, sunglasses, some snacks, batteries and our trusty gps. Of course we included our printout of the coordinates of our sought after geo cache.
We drove about an hour from our house, there were closer finds, however we wanted to explore this particular destination. It was gorgeous. The aspens had just begun to change. We whipped out the GPS and followed it, it isn’t hard, but in the beginning, the geo cache will be located in a different location than you think it will.
