Walk in showers are one of those things that when you get used to using one you can’t imagine having to go back to the cramped conditions offered by the standard shower enclosure found in the majority of homes. In the past these walk in showers seemed expensive and perhaps overly extravagant for the majority of families but due to competition the prices have come down in recent years making them a viable option for more people.
You might not want to remodel your bathroom if it doesn’t need it but if you are thinking about updating anyway then you will want to consider making one of these showers the centerpiece of a bathroom which will be a joy to use. One thing I don’t advise is using a friends walk in shower to see if it suits you if you don’t really have the money to get one for yourself because after you try one out there is no way that you will be able to resist getting one for yourself.
