If you garage is already full of tools or storage, it can be difficult to find a place for a new purchase. One option is to sort out the garage, organize its contents better, and get rid of things that you no longer use. This strategy can almost certainly yield some space the first several times, but of course cannot work indefinitely since everything takes up a minimum of space! You can also find more storage space on your property. This may mean installing a wooden storage shed, or finding some room in the attic, or designating a room in your basement to be used for additional storage. You can also use offsite rental storage but this expense can really add up over time, and you are probably better off getting rid of stuff so that you do not need to store so much.
