After several months of informally keeping track of things as I shopped, I’ve decided that I can usually do at least as well shopping for things online (cost wise) as I can by going out and hitting sales. Certainly there are still times when a local sale will win out, such as during a clearance, but generally I do alright by looking around a bit online.
I’ve found that there are a couple of places I should always check out first. Those are Amazon and eBay. They are so incredibly humongous that they almost always have some time of deal that looks pretty good. For fashion, I found a guide to cheap purses that said essentially exactly what I’m saying here. If you look for it online and are willing to browse just a bit, you can usually sniff out some major bargains that local retail outlets just can’t touch.
