Extra tall and adjustable bar stools are two seating options that add a little flexibility to your kitchen for everyday use and when entertaining.
Extra tall bar stools are not necessarily for extra tall people. It’s about the height of the counter or table they will be pulled up to that decides if they are normal, tall bar stools or extra tall models, not the length of your legs.
Adjustable bar stool designs are in many styles but the one thing is common is their ability to be low or high – or rather, for the seat position to be variable. These can be adjusted manually or have an airlift or a pump. The most common adjustable stools are in chrome and have one pedestal. You may notice that stools all have measurements like “30 bar stools” or “24 bar stools” or “34 bar stools” or “36 bar stools” and this refers to 30, 24, 34 or 36 inches in height from the seat of the stool to the to the floor. So check how adjustable in inches your stool will be to see if it will fit under your counter or table.
