Exploring Hawaii

Nothing says tropical paradise quite like Hawaii. Which is weird because it clearly isn’t the best of tropical island chains and it’s FAR from the least crowded but over the years it has developed a name for itself that has stuck deep within the minds of every tourist on earth. No single vacation destination could ever hope to drop billions of dollars in advertising that would ever amount to the level of innate cultural notoriety that Hawaii has just by dint of being that tiny island state of America’s that has been on the vacation radar for so many decades that it’s actually difficult to find someone who’s first word on the subject of tropical islands isn’t “Hawaii.” Actually, I suppose most people’s first word would be something more along the lines of “I.” As in, “I think you should go to Hawaii.” It’s not like it doesn’t have some of the same charms that are endemic of other tropical locales, it’s just that it’s important to remember that there are other options out there.
