What is effective communication? Communication should always be clear enough to be understood. The goal of any communicator should be clear, concise information that’s easily understood. It’s necessary to always ask oneself: “What am I trying to convey?”, in order to achieve the most direct method of communication. Words are powerful and voluminous enough to convey the most precise thoughts and ideas into excellent communication. This is the main goal of effective communication. It’s clear that choosing words carefully and with utmost simplicity is key to clearer understanding. However, in today’s more advanced society, in addition to choosing words carefully, choosing meanings with equal care is also necessary. In a multi-tasking world of people who readily anticipate the unspoken, choosing words without also being vigilant of meaning can be ineffective communication. Yet, it’s important to maintain unique communication identity.
