I am a graphic designer, and one of the things that I like to make the most are invitations. I actually enjoy the process of making something for someone and I like that an invitation can be relatively simple to create and make beautiful. One of the things that I have learned from experience is that you must pick the envelope that you plan on putting the invitation in before you do any designing. This is because it is easy to find paper that matches your colored envelopes, but it is not so simple to find envelopes to go with your paper. You must also know what size and shape you invitation is going to be and you can only determine this after knowing what envelope you are planning on using. Don’t put off making the decision of envelope choice towards the end, because you may just find out that your invitation doesn’t fit.
