Some people wonder how good of an idea it is to buy a Pandora bracelet and charms for are child or younger teenager? The bracelets, with charms, can be quite an expensive gift and jewelry is one of those things that certain young ladies misplace or lose fairly easily. I would say that you should know your child or teen, and if you think they would be responsible and keep track of where the bracelet is, then it would make a great gift idea. But, if the child or teen tends to easily misplace things it may be best to hold off until she is a bit older before giving her a bracelet.
Some parents I know actually bought their three year old daughter a charm bracelet, with three cute charms on it. Then they add a new charm to it each birthday, with the charms they add having something to do with what happened with their daughter during that year. This way they are building up something full of memories that they will give her when she reaches sixteen! I thought that was a charming idea.
