There are hundreds of dresses to choose from, when buying a dress for your casual wedding. A casual wedding has the advantages that a more formal wedding does not. A casual wedding dress can be long or short, blue or black, white or off white and any style the bride would want.
The varying lengths of dresses may be hard to narrow down when doing a search. Sometimes lengths may be confusing. I know the terminology can be very confusing when I do searches. Some terms such as ankle length or knee length may be self explanatory. But what about terms such as drop waist, tea length, and short? Are those as self explanatory or confusing as they seem?
Tea length can mean anywhere past the knee to the ankles. A full ball gown length dress would reach past the ankles.
Short dresses do not mean min, rather ‘short’ is the term used when a skirt is above the knee.
A drop waist is where the waist drops below the natural waist line. Usually around the hips, and usually found in vintage dresses from the 30s, a drop waist is rarer than any other style.
You can find more information by researching online Wikipedia, which gives a clear definition of all waist and length terminologies.
