Building body muscles can be a very tedious and time consuming job. It takes months to even begin to measure real results, months of hard work, proper focus and dedication. You can jump start this process and see results in weeks if you attack with core exercises with weight training equipment.
One of the most important core exercise routines is the bench press; this exercise primarily focuses on the chest muscles and upper body. It is performed by lying over one’s back on a horizontal bench and pushing or press weights away from oneself and hence the term bench press.
The simplicity of this exercise should not make you discount the value, going heavy and hard will bring you solid results in weeks. Proper home gym equipment is a must if you work out at home and I strongly recommend a power rack in order to safely workout alone.
Really a bench press is a single solid bar of up to 7 feet long with weights on each end, you lower the bar slowly to the chest while breathing in and exhale strongly when pushing the bar back up (away from you). You should also learn that it’s not good to push the bar straight up and down, the motion you want to follow is more like the letter “J” that’s how the bar should go up and down. That’s all you really need to know to get started now start setting up your home gym equipment and make sure you purchase weight training equipment
