Beware of Acai Berry Cleanse Scams

It is a well-documented fact that the Acai berry has fantastic anti-oxident properties. Consumers have developed quite an appetite for this little berry over the last year or two. Whenever there is a huge demand for a product, the scam companies will be advertising right there with the reputable companies. Sometimes it is hard to differentiate between the two. One current scam is known as the Acai berry cleanse scam (or diet). Usually in the form of a blog, this scam will have a 30-something mom talking about how badly she felt before she discovered Acai and will go on to tell you that when she began the Acai berry cleanse (or diet), the pounds melted off and her energy level increased exponentially. These types of blogs are nothing more than advertisements to get 30-something moms (and others) to purchase the Acai berry cleanse. They may offer a free trial. Often people do not realize they are agreeing to a monthly shipment of Acai when they sign up for the free trial. Some people have reported that it is extremely difficult to cancel the subscription once they realize what is going on. It would be great if eating a little berry made us lose weight; too bad that is not the way permanent weight loss works. The take-home point is to be very careful of anything that seems too good to be true, because 99.9% of the time you will end up disappointed and angry about being taken in by a scam company.
