Wearing contact lenses is great for a number of reasons. Unlike glasses, the lenses don’t get dirty or get in your way or even fog up when coming indoors in the winter. But one annoyance with contacts is when they dry out. They get sticky and your eyes feel really dry.

Keeping your contacts moist involves using rewetting drops throughout the day. Wouldn’t it be great if they came out with contact lenses that were somehow moisturizing so that you don’t need rewetting drops? Well, they do!

There are two manufacturers of moisturizing contacts: CooperVision and Focus Dailies. These kinds of contacts are now available because of advances in conact lens technology. So when you see your eye doctor for your yearly visit, it’s always good to find out what new kinds of contacts are available since the technology seems to change and get better pretty often.
