Most people dive head first, hit the ground running, or flip a 180 when they start diet meal plans. Most people fail. Imagine trying to roller skate up a mountain. Now imagine walking up the same mountain. Which would you rather do? A great diet plan takes you step by step, inch by inch, kicking and screaming all the way up that mountain. A great diet plan takes baby steps.
Make small changes to your diet, little things that you can tackle right now. Cut down on sugar: don’t eliminate sugar. Small cuts will add up. Over time make more cuts or substitute with a sugar alternative. Eat smaller meals. Three main meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Add a healthy snack between meals. Two slices of turkey and an apple is a good choice. This will spread out your calories, keep your metabolism fire lit, and keep your body energized, pumped, and ready for action. Increase you water intake. Stay hydrated. Water will flush out toxins, energize you, and fill you up. Learn to love it. Sip it regularly. Keep it with you wherever you go. Now add exercise.
Be smart. Start small. Take baby steps. And check with your doctor before starting on any diet plan.
